Solutions  /  Portfolio screening

For wealth managers and financial advisers

Keep your portfolio within its mandate.

A book is compliant the day it is built. Then a regulator rules against one of the companies in it, or a commitment lapses, and nothing in the process picks it up. Every holding is rechecked as new decisions are published. Where one falls outside the mandate, the screen also shows names in the same sector that still meet it, and those improving — so a rebalance can be built from evidence, with the decision staying yours.

weighted over the 10 of 10 holdings that report one — 100% of this portfolio by weight, above the 40% floor
Reported Scope 1+2 only — never an estimate, never modelled, and never netted against anything. This is a measurement carried beside the bands; it does not enter the band ladder and no holding's band depends on it.
Carbon feed 2026-09-07-metrics-rev2 (2026-09-07) — 797 of 2,000 companies in the source carry reported Scope 1+2 — 838 companies reach this report.
The band is a lookup on published rules, each fired by a single stated fact — never a weighted average. The rule that fired appears in the Why column on every row. Precedence: Excluded (activity) → Excluded (conduct) → Critical → Elevated → Watch → Leader → Reported; first match wins.
Glossary — or hover any band label, band card or column head
Identity unconfirmed — the company this holding was matched to is in doubt — the row's own identifier belongs to a different company. The row keeps its weight and sits outside every figure until a person decides which company it is.
Determination — a decision actually made by a named regulator — a judgment, a consent order, an uncontested final order. Never an allegation or a filed charge.
Severity — 0–100, from the penalty, the adjudication stage and the scope of the case. Not a company score, and it never mixes in disclosure.
Adjudicated — a regulator decided, on a date, with a citable source.
Active window — five years from the determination date. Exclusions sit inside it like everything else — what they are exempt from is decay: inside the window an exclusion is never discounted for age, and it lifts on evidence of resolution rather than on time passing.
Pillars — E, S, G by the subject of the finding: an EPA case is E, a mine-safety case is S, a competition case is G.
Positive evidence — the company's own disclosure, verified as published. Never netted against the adverse column.

The reported Scope 1+2 above it uses a market-based Scope 2, so the two do not add up and are not meant to: they are different accounting bases, not a discrepancy. Scope 2 here is the location-based figure from WBA's climate profile. The reported Scope 1+2 above it uses a market-based Scope 2, so the two do not add up and are not meant to: they are different accounting bases, not a discrepancy. WBA labels neither, so this is read from the arithmetic — the profile's Scope 1 agrees with the aggregate on every company, and the residual differs only where the company buys renewable instruments.
no assurance statement — WBA publishes none for any company, so this is the absence of a statement, not a failed audit
Emissions are carried beside the bands and never inside them. Nothing on this panel moved the band above.
Flags — shown, never scored
A sanctions flag means the company appears on that list, matched by identifier; news mentions are monitored coverage from GDELT. Neither changes the band or can exclude a company.

An independent estimate informs the pillar it is about and is shown here with its source; it is not a determination and it can never exclude a company.

About this data · 6 data sources, 3 overdue

Watch is only shown in sectors where at least 20% of companies are observed and at least 10 peers are covered, so a sector nobody watches can never produce a Watch. MSHA and OSHA findings have no link: those regulators publish lookup and bulk-data pages, not a page per violation.
