Pension fund evidence report
Fidelity FutureWise 2070
Holdings as at 2025-12-31 · evidence snapshot 2026-09-01 · tested against the scheme’s own published exclusions.

Two questions about every holding

The fund’s policy excludes companies in breach of the UN Global Compact, as determined by its provider's data, which the scheme does not name. In its own words: “excludes UN Global Compact violators” — FutureWise TDFs, p.25. That determination is not published, and we do not hold it.

The company’s record. 161 of 645 holdings — 48.0% of the extracted equity lines · 38.8% of the pot — carry a final adjudicated determination inside the five-year window. Each row shows the company’s band and the one determination that set it. That part of the row is the same on every report we publish, whichever scheme holds the company. 58 of them are on our exclusion bar.

This scheme’s commitment. 150 of those — 47.5% of the extracted equity lines · 38.3% of the pot — carry a determination from a regulator we map to a UN Global Compact principle. The rest read Not covered: the scheme’s exclusion does not reach the determination. Not covered is a statement about the rule, not a clean record.

These are different measures and they disagree. A provider’s violator list is narrower than every enforcement finding that engages a principle, and a fund screened on one would not hold a share like this in violators — the size of the figure is itself the evidence that the two definitions differ. This page therefore does not say the fund breaches its policy. It sets the findings beside the policy, so a trustee can ask the manager which of them the provider’s list reaches and why the rest are not on it.

137 holdings carry a review marker. Each is fired by one stated rule, printed on the row and in full when the row is opened. A marker is a prompt to look at the record, not a recommendation.

These are not late findings. Of the 150 that engage the scheme’s exclusion, 139 were already on the public record before the 2025-12-31 holdings date — 113 by more than a year, 89 by more than two. The oldest was determined 1,576 days before the fund published these holdings.

645 of 1,326holdings tested against this exclusion — 82.6% of the extracted equity lines · 66.7% of the pot
161carry a final adverse determination of any kind — 48.0% of the extracted equity lines · 38.8% of the pot
150of those engage the scheme’s own exclusion — 47.5% of the extracted equity lines · 38.3% of the pot
137marked for review, each by the rule printed on its row
58excluded on Sustain Labs: on our exclusion bar
What these percentages are over. Percentages on this page are over the extracted equity lines, which are 80.74% of the pot. The fund's own resolution report records equity sleeve allocation as 81.29% of the pot; the difference is allocation with no line-level schedule, and it is not unresolved holdings. The column is a share of the WHOLE POT. It sums to 0.8074 because two Fidelity ETF sleeves whose holdings files could not be retrieved are 12.60% of the pot, the LTAF private-assets sleeve is 5.78% and cash is 0.33%. The report's `equity_sleeve_allocation_pct` of 81.29% is the allocation of the five ACS sleeves that WERE extracted, not the fund's equities: the Sleeve Summary's equity rows total 93.89% of the pot.
What this measure is, before the number is quoted anywhere. The commitment figure counts every holding with a final determination inside the window whose source maps to a UN Global Compact principle — the same basis as the PAI 10 figure on this fund, and the same basis in both reports. It is not comparable to a vendor’s UNGC screen and names more companies than the scheme’s own provider would, because EPA and MSHA between them reach most of the US listed population and a routine mine-safety docket is not what a scheme means by a UN Global Compact violator. Every row below carries the regulator, the stage and the date, so the reader can see which is which rather than take the total on trust.
The scheme’s other commitments
What else it promised, and whether it can be tested
The commitments report examines every published commitment across both layers, the share of the equity allocation each binds, and the parts of the arrangement whose documents were not retrievable.

Is it moving?
The holdings’ emissions against their own promises, on registry and satellite evidence
9 holdings (0.5% of the scheme) are behind their own promise or have witnesses that disagree; 2 are ahead (0.2%). 100% of the scheme by weight has no Pace verdict the evidence can support. Words with evidence, never a score; nothing here moves a band.

The 161 holdings
Each company’s record, set beside the scheme’s UN Global Compact exclusion
The scheme’s own words: “excludes UN Global Compact violators” — a rule that runs on its provider's data, which the scheme does not name, not on this list. Band, regulator, stage, severity and date are the company’s record and are the same on every report; Scheme’s exclusion is this scheme’s. Click any row for every determination behind it.

Scope 2 here is the location-based figure from WBA's climate profile. The reported Scope 1+2 above it uses a market-based Scope 2, so the two do not add up and are not meant to: they are different accounting bases, not a discrepancy. WBA labels neither, so this is read from the arithmetic — the profile's Scope 1 agrees with the aggregate on every company, and the residual differs only where the company buys renewable instruments.

E · EnvironmentIndependent estimate · not adjudicated · Climate TRACE · climate trace intensity above median · severity 34 · 2025-12-31
Independent estimate · not adjudicated · Climate TRACE — 2025 fleet of 1 controlled power facility: 1,500,700 tCO2e over 2,139,600 MWh = 0.701 tCO2e per MWh (population median 0.607, worst decile from 1.067); highest-intensity facility Compañía de Nitrógeno de Cantarell power station (gas, 0.701). Reached through the keyed LEI supplement (an adopted decision with its evidence).
Climate TRACE publishes its inventory as a bulk package, not a page per facility; the controlling parent's LEI and the inventory year are the citation, and the figure is an independent estimate, not a determination.

Review is fired by the first of five rules that matches: excluded on Sustain Labs where the scheme’s exclusion does not reach the determination; excluded on Sustain Labs where it does; a critical finding; 2 or more final determinations in the window; one final determination within 24 months of the holdings date. A single determination older than that, below the critical floor, carries no marker.
Days is the gap between the determination and the holdings date — the period in which the fund had the opportunity to act. Filed proceedings are carried in the record but never fire a band: an allegation is not a determination.
